• 24 December 2011 Carols by Candlelight: 
  Join us in the Village Green (beside Nelse Lodge) at 6:30pm on Christmas Eve for a fun filled evening of carols, costumes and holiday cheer.
• 26 December 2011 Mile-High Cricket Match: 
  Forget the Boxing Day Test, bring the whole team along to the Nordic Bowl for a fun match for all ages. Enjoy a BBQ lunch and fun for the whole family.
• 27 Dec '11 - 29 Jan '12  Summer Kids Club: 
  A comprehensive program of activities, from cookie decorating, draw 'n' explore and kids adventure games, to discovery walks, tree planting, face painting and loads more.
• 31 December 2011  New Year's Eve - Party in the Stars:
  Bring in the New Year in style at one of serveral parties on offer at restaurants or bars around the mountain...

• 03 - 08 January 2012  Falls Creek Triathalon Boot Camp
  Start getting acclimatised for the most picturesque event on the triathalon calendar...the Falls Creek Triathalon.  Get training tips from the pros, improve your fitness and have fun in the mountains.
• 14 January 2012 Falls Creek Billy Cart Derby
  Dust off the old billy cart in the shed and bring it up to Falls as we turn the Village roads into the ultimate test of your driving skills. There will be races for all ages. Loads of great prizes, trophies and fun for all the family.
• 27 - 29 January 2012  Victorian Mile-High Dragon Boat Championships
  Teams of 20 paddle it out on the Rocky Valley lake for the prestigious crown of Victorian Mile High Champions! So get your team together and start practicing...
• 29 January 2012 Audax Alpine Classic Cycling Challenge
  The Audax Alpine Classic sees more than 2,000 cyclists travel through some of Victoria's most spectacular countryside in the north west Alpine region of the state, including the challenging ride up Bogong High Plains road into Falls Creek.

• 7 - 10 February 2012  Falls Creek Triathalon Boot Camp
  With the Falls Creek Triathalon on the 11th Feb this camp is a must to help tame the influence altitude has on your body.  A must for every competitor.
• 11 February 2012  2XU Falls Creek Triathalon & Trail Running Festival
  Even if you arent competing this is your chance to see world class triathaletes at their best.

• 11 March 2012  3 Peaks Challenge
  Take the challenge, ride the 230km course through Australia's most spectacular Alpine Region! The Bogong High Plains road between Falls Creek and Omeo Highway has now been sealed, creating, for the first time, the opportunity for a 'European-Style' road cycling event. The 230km course starts and finishes at Falls Creek, circumnavigating Victoria's Alpine Region traversing Tawonga Gap, Mt Hotham, then back to Falls Creek via Omeo.

• 6 - 9  April 2012 Easter Family Festival
  Falls Creek comes alive over Easter with heaps of activites happening throughout the weekend. The Cadbury Easter Festival is held on the Sunday with a giant easter egg hunt, kids Easter bonnet competition (with your chance to make your bonnet on Saturday at Kids Club), egg toss for the bigger and older kids with lots of prizes to give away. The community run breakfast BBQ is a must and a great way to start your day.
